Here is
a
photographic record, showing the growth of our 1 foot unrooted
hybrid willow setts from planting in March to the final
height in October of the same year. The height, by the end of the first
year is between 6ft and 12ft depending on variety. For optimum
screening cut
back the first year's growth to promote shooting from the base, which
in turn will
provide a dense screen.
