The Wood Fuel Kits contain a mix of Salix Viminalis and other Hybrids bred specifically for biomass / wood fuel production. Permeable ground cover fabric is included to suppress weeds, warm the soil and retain moist. The unrooted willow cuttings are planted through holes in the ground cover. Rooted cuttings can not be planted using this method. Rooting powder is not required as willow has its own natural rooting hormones that ensure quick establishment.
